A Christmas Offering

Ever since we started singing this song as one of our Christmas songs in our services holiday last year. I can't help but to simply be in awe of its wonderful message: To present ourselves as an offering of worship to the Lord.

I Write to Live

I have always been that kind of person who loves to write. I already wrote poems, stories, and features in my high school days in our school paper called "The Light." Even so, I even started trying to write my own novel, which of course, was still on its way (that I'm doubting I could kill).

Review: Seagate Slim Portable Drive (500GB)

My folder is awfully bursting. Projects, documents, graphic arts and everything I consider digital of course, name it. Being obsessed with movies, TV series, music and eBooks, I just can’t stand getting left behind with updates. Because of that, I have so much files I already invaded the whole disk space of our personal computer at home. I realized, my files needed a refuge, ha-ha.

So there it was, the Seagate Slim Portable Drive!

A Sisig Lover’s Paradise

Have you been looking for the best sisig you’ll ever want to taste? Yes or No, I think I found it! Ha-ha. Nah, I’m just joking. Maybe right now, you’re just as curious as I when my friend Isiah told me about the best sisig I will ever taste, but I really had the best sisig, at least.

RACE To Serve Fun Run III

Me and my classmate Alice -- in wonderland. Ha-ha

One of the things I had to keep in my mind is that while I study, I also had to keep my body fit, though I think I’m not that in shape at all. Because of that, I always make time for little runs and sweat-tearing. And I must admit, my schedule is getting tight and finding time becomes my problem. Though squeezing myself in our P.E. class might be helping, I have to find some other way. And I’m glad my Sunday classes caught my attention on this fun run they made us join in.

It’s More Fun with Philip: Ang Lifestyle Show ng Bayan!

For years, Philip Abadicio has always been associated with the success of the products and brands he launched for his clients. As a PR practitioner, he established RPA & Communicate where he mastered the ropes of the lifestyle industry.  Thus, it gave him the chance to hobnob with some of the country’s known celebrities in society, showbiz, business, politics and media.  It also brought out the friendliest and most intuitive side of his personality as captured on-cam in his latest quest as lifestyle TV host.

Now on its second season, It’s More Fun with Philip: Ang Lifestyle Show ng Bayan! will air its initial telecast on July 28, 2013, Sunday, 9:30 pm, on TV5’s news channel, Aksyon TV (with a replay every Tuesday, 9:30 pm and Saturday, 5 pm). With his renewed contract with the network, Philip has been given an assurance of his status as the only TV show and host that paves the way for lifestyle to be more interesting and within reach of all Filipinos.

Christian and In a Secular College? SURVIVE!!!

Yeah, I decided not to go full time on bible college and I must admit, it's difficult. Likewise, many Christians are in the same boat too. Perhaps hindrances arise - like distance (which is my problem), price (in other bible colleges?), opportunities in other schools, or maybe it was not really in your options in the first place. Anyhow, it doesn't mean we're any less of a Christian we should be. In fact, secular colleges are filled with opportunities to stand firm in our faith and there are lots of Christians around you if you don't mind. The thing is, we only need to have proper management on controlling our disciplines, this will result in a productive Christian life equipped and ready for the years to come. Christians, if you're in the same state right now, I encourage you to consider these things:

Flags of Our Fathers | A Child's Stand

When I was young, I used to run into my Papa whenever I had a bad dream or so. I would run as fast as I could just to hold or even get a touch at my father’s hand to relieve my fear, and then he’ll comfort me, even let me sleep at their bedroom. Sometimes when I don’t want to wake him up, I would just hold on to his feet and close my eyes and all bad feelings die away. But now that I’m too big to climb in their bedstead and my dreams are now too phony to be afraid of, I’d rather slept from it haha.

Getting Back On Writing

It's been months since I stopped and rested from writing. And because of this, I eventually skipped on pass events on my life which I can say are the most important and worth sharing. I missed writing so much it kills me haha.

Right now, I want to pray for God to keep in me the enthusiastic spirit of writing which I had in the past years of my schooling. I could remember all those articles I wrote for our school paper and I badly wanted to get back or rather, continue the career I'm starting to forget.

Kristiyano Ka Na, Pa'no Kung ...
